Declan : Newborn

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Declan. I was a bit nervous because he was two weeks old - at the older end of my preferred age range - but Declan was an absolute dream! Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Koldyn - 4 days old

Tonight, my brother, his wife & my new nephew came for dinner and pictures. Koldyn is 4 days old today and this was the first time I got the opportunity to hold him. I meant to get a photo of the two of us, but he got fussy at the end of the session (I will take the blame - I was trying to create one of my baby visions & he was not having it). I did manage to get my kids in for literally 2 minutes for a quick picture with their cousins.. A photo I'm sure my mom will treasure for years to come...

Koldyn Anthony - my nephew!

Today, after 24 hours of labor, my brother & his wife became new parents. I had the great honor of being present in the room and being allowed to capture this miracle as it happened. It truly was one of the most amazing experiences of my life... Meet Koldyn Anthony born today, October 6th at 9:21 am. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long... I am in love!

Newborn "S" & big brother "H"

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to photograph one of my favorite family's newest additions - baby "S." I actually went to college with the parents, but they didn't know that when they first hired me 2 years ago to photograph their newborn (now the big brother). It was so great to see them again - they are truly the nicest people! Congrats to you both - you have a beautiful family!

Busy, busy weekend!

Aside from my husband leaving for Tahoe and leaving me alone with my two toddlers this weekend, I had 3 infant sessions.. All scheduled during my 2 year old's anticipated naptimes & bed time Jake's photos have already been posted, however here are some of my favorites from Ethan & Connor's sessions as well.
