Declan : Newborn

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Declan. I was a bit nervous because he was two weeks old - at the older end of my preferred age range - but Declan was an absolute dream! Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

8 Month old Reed

I can't believe I didn't blog this adorable baby. I could have sworn I did! Reed is the son of a very close friend of mine and we had a last-minute impromptu session a couple weeks ago when I had a client reschedule. I mean, I guess I could have taken advantage of my newly found free-time, but what fun would that have been? A few of my favorites from our session:

The world's easiest baby...

....and loved beyond belief. Albert's name was chosen in remembrance of his great grandfather and his birthday was a day filled with emotion. His big sister Kaylee had been born at 24 weeks and sadly was not strong enough to stay with us. His birth was celebrated by all who knew of his mom's heart breaking story and I was honored to do his photographs this afternoon.

Albert, by the way, is my second cousin and his great grandfather is my beloved grandfather, Albert Gabriel.

Sweet {B}

I absolutely adore this family. I know I've already said it, but it's so wonderful to get to watch these little ones grow. Recently, I had the pleasaure of photographing sweet little {B} again, who is now 6 months old. I think I've made it pretty obvious that newborns are my favorite subjects to photograph, but if I had to choose my second favorite age, 6-7 months would be it. The babies are sitting, smiley and wonderful to interact with.
Thanks again, {C} and {P} for allowing me to spend an afternoon with your adorable little girl. I always look forward to my sessions with you.

{7 Month Old A - Sneak Peek}

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting little A and his mom L - what a great family they are!! One of my favorite things about the session was how happy A was and how mom laughed almost the entire session. I had so much fun!! I know that little A's mom is very anxious to see her images.. So here is a sneak peek until I can get your entire gallery up (which will be very soon). Thank you again for allowing me to capture your little one's smiles!

5 month old {B}

I love my job. I get to meet the most wonderful people and often times, I get to watch their babies grow, as I have with little {B}. The fist time I met this family was when little {B} was still in his mommy's tummy, then again days after he was born. I had the opportunity to photograph this family again this past weekend and little {B} is now 5 months old.
