My name is Angela and I'm the artist behind the images of Angela Smith Photography. I'm a wife, mother of two young children, and lover of all things photography.

I am located in Sherwood, Oregon and service the greater Portland Metro area. While I enjoy photographing subjects of all kinds, I have found that my passion lies in capturing life's most treasured moments - the miracle of a newborn, the confidence of a high school senior, a young couple in love, and a bride's tears of joy on her wedding day.

I want to thank you for visiting my blog. Please kick your feet up, grab a cup of coffee, and share my passion with me!

Sweet little Sophia...

1 week old Sophia was quite possibly the best newborn model I've had the pleasure of working with... And so beautiful. She was a natural in front of the camera and we got some great shots in the new studio. Here are a few of my favorites from our session...

A rare opportunity...

My brother and his finacee came up for a visit a couple weeks ago. We snuck into the studio for a few quick pictures and I even got in one! Of course, my son has his goofy glasses on, but hey - it's what I've got. And he's pretty cute. Here are my favorites from our quickie session...

My latest senior...

Today I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sara. This girl was a natural - so beautiful and easy to photograph.. The camera loved her, and it shows. We had a great time during our shoot...

A lady at my church was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Tonight, I received an email that she has been hospitalized with a serious bacterial infection. The outlook is grim, as they are not sure she is strong enough to fight off the infection. This inspired my photo for today.
